Many of us have decided to put weight loss goals on the top of our mile-long list of resolutions this year. However, many of us don't have a lot of time for a regular workout regime as well as a clean home. That's why we've created easy tips to beef up your workout while doing a few chores.
Tone your arms, quads and glutes by cleaning windows and counter tops
Use the infamous "wax on, wax off" rotating, circular motions as you clean your windows and counters. You can also incorporate squats as you clean up and down the windows while tightening your abdomen.
Work your quads and glutes by dusting and vacuuming
Lunge across each room as you moving the vacuum forward and backward. Keep toes pointed straight ahead and don't bend your knees further than 90 degrees for a good and safe burn.
Build your core by doing a load or two of laundry
Use your laundry basket for standing core rotations. Simply hold a laundry basket full of clothing with arms extended straight in front of you with feet shoulder-width apart and slowly rotate your arms from side to side, allowing your torso to move slightly. While you're waiting for a load to finish, you can do some jumping jacks or push-ups.
